COURSE OVERVIEW
During this week we dive into a deeper experience of our being. Supported by a wonderful natural evironment , we practice Prana Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga and basic techniques of meditation, which invite us to enjoy the presence, the life energy, the body and being alive in the moment, vibrating with vitality and lively awareness.
Both yoga and meditation exercises are designed to accompany and strengthen you later in everyday life, 'off the mat' and 'off the cushion'. We celebrate the vitality of our body in yoga and take the freshness and liveliness of each unique moment as an object of meditation.
Excursions in nature, to lakes and mountains, as well as enriching encounters with other participants are part of this 'Joy of Life' retreat. Prepare yourself to feel lighter and full with the joy of life and for a deep encounter with yourself and nature.
COURSE CONTENT Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga & Meditation
The motto of the yoga practice is 'Yoga should feel good'. In addition to flowing sequences in a playful Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga, many yoga exercises are taught which aim to improve posture and health. With strengthening Yang exercises we center the joints and strengthen muscles and musculoskeletal system. With long held Yin exercises we dive deeper into the connective tissue as well as tendon and ligamentous apparatus in order to address and dissolve tensions and pain patterns.
The yoga practice serves as preparation for meditation. It makes us agile and strong for everyday life and makes sitting in meditation sitting easier. In addition, it balances the energy in the body and thus balances and calms the mind; the ideal prerequisite for entering meditation.
Already Yin Yoga has a deep meditative part. We meditate with the body, are present with the breath and the feelings in the body, and thus always dive into the connection with the body during the week. We connect the consciousness with the body, a true tantric practice of embodiment and embody with time the Yin attitude; being in doing!
We also practice sitting meditation, concentration, clarity and insight into the natural mind. In its natural form, the mind gains great power and suppleness, as well as access to all the positive qualities of suprapersonal consciousness: freshness, liveliness, equanimity, joy, compassion and wisdom. A wonderful method to experience everyday life with more ease, clarity and presence. And to let oneself be touched even more deeply in the encounter with man and nature.

Casa Santo Stefano invites you with a special atmosphere, consiting of two historic and stylishly renovated Ticino houses.
The bright loggias, the open fireplaces and a magnificent terrace with a grape pergola invite you to linger.
In our two large Ticino kitchens with rustic wooden tables, you can enjoy freshly baked bread and plait as well as countless fine homemade jams for breakfast every day.
Casa Santo Stefano is situated in a typical Ticino village in the heart of Malcantone, on a unique sunny slope, in the middle of a wild and romantic hiking area with chestnut woods and waterfalls. Ideal for relaxation, for a break and active holidays - for individual guests and seminar participants. Lago di Lugano (Caslano) and Lago di Maggiore (Luino) can be reached by car in 15 and 30 minutes respectively for an excursion to the lake.

KURSLEITUNG Matthias Brun
I fell that I have arrived in my yoga practice and in life and I am grateful to be able to share the pearls of wisdom I found on my way with many yoga students and friends. As a founder of Guerilla Yoga, the Riveryoga Studio and a Retreat place in India I feel honored to be part of the modern Yoga Movement.
As an experienced yoga and meditation teacher I know how to respond to people and at the same time give the whole group a deep and holistic retreat experience.
I am teaching regular classes and workshops with a focus on teaching Immersions and Trainings for Yoga Teachers.
I have been living with my family in Ticino for 3 years and also work as a therapist with Yoga Therapy and Cell Reactive Training.
