OVERVIEW

 

This day retreat will give you a deep experiential immersion into the method of meditation. It is designed to deepen your own yoga or meditation practice.

AIM & CONTENT

Our aim is to introduce you to the practice of meditation, to give you the necessary background information and lead you to several deeper meditation experiences. During the course we cover the following content and exercises:

MORNING (10:00 - 12:30)

  • Meditation in the Yoga tradition

  • Clarification about mindfulness, awakening and enlightenment

  • Setting the goal

  • Preparing the body

  • Correct posture for sitting and lying down meditation

  • Embodiment mediation

  • Concentration mediation as the base

  • Awareness meditation

AFTERNOON PART 1 (13:30 - 15:00)

  • Buddhist way of meditation

  • Embodiment mediation part 2

  • inner posture

  • Deepening the concentration

  • Awareness meditation part 2

AFTERNOON PART 2 (15:15 - 17:00)

  • Non dual meditation - beyond the self

  • Bringing meditation to daily life

  • Heart listening meditation - getting information from the heart

  • Final sharing circle
